Binny Mathews, Co-founder
Binny is responsible for all Sales, Business Development and Course Development at Dezyre.com.Prior to Dezyre.com, he was a Sales and Business Development Manager at QuinStreet - one of the world's leaders in online education. At QuinStreet, Binny was responsible for US$14 million in P&L and ownership over QuinStreet's primary clients. He also was responsible for coordinating between the technology, creative and media teams to help clients achieve their online marketing goals.
Prior to QuinStreet, Binny was a Senior Analyst in the Investment Banking Division at Credit Suisse (New York & San Francisco) working with clients in Media and Technology. At Credit Suisse he worked on transactions over US$25 billion including the SBC-AT&T Merger, Dice.com IPO and First Solar IPO apart from advising clients such as Comcast, Tribune, Global Crossing, eBay, Yahoo, Comcast and Level 3.
Binny graduated with a M.S in Computer Science and Engineering from Washington University in St.Louis, where he was a Graduate Student Representative. At WashU, Binny worked on an Image Sensor module that was part of a space mission. He graduated with a B.S in Computer Science from SRM University where he was President of the Computer Science Association.
Binny is passionate about education and used to be a part-time school teacher for 2 years in New York City. He was also the New Member Recruiter and Fundraiser for 'Asha' - a non-profit focused on education and career development projects in India. During college summer vacations, Binny interned with NIIT - India's leading training institute.
Omair Aasim, Co-founder
Omair is responsible for all Technology, Course Quality and Online Marketing at Dezyre.com.Prior to Dezyre.com, Omair was a Senior Associate at JP Morgan's Technology division in Delaware, USA. At JP Morgan, Omair was involved in designing, engineering and implementing several key projects. Omair also worked with JP Morgan's small business clients to develop customized applications overseeing the entire software development lifecycle from requirements to production phase.
Before JP Morgan, Omair was an Applications Developer at Merck Pharmaceuticals in Pennsylvania, USA, where he worked on redesigning and implementing the entire Ecommerce platform and Order Management and Tracking system.
While in college, Omair built and ran several successful web applications including a marketplace for freelance developers, an e-commerce portal, vertical search engines and an online music portal. One of the projects most dearest to him is the speech recognition word processor he developed during his second year in college.
Omair has a M.S and B.S in Computer Science from the University of Houston.
