  • Work with other members of the department to build products for US government customers that deliver real-time analytics
  • Build Data pipelines to clean "messy" data and help build standards in data cleaning for analytical studies
  • Build Data Frameworks for studies that require the aggregation of many different technical databases that may include text, images, and numerical data
  • Build fast Machine Learning pipelines that are ready for production
  • Provide backup to lead web application developer on backend development
  • May participate on studies and analyses requiring research and synthesis of technical and programmatic data





  • A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics or related discipline
  • Two or more years of related experience
  • Knowledge of computer science fundamentals in object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithm design, and complexity analysis
  • Demonstrated objected oriented programming skills, such as through the use of C++ or Java
  • Strong programming skills in a scripting language such as Python, R, or Matlab
  • Experience with "Big Data" tools such as Spark & Hadoop
  • Experience with Machine Learning and production level modeling
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL, especially in database design
  • Ability to effectively work with multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively as part of a team in a dynamic environment
  • Proven ability to consistently provide products of high quality
  • Ability to obtain a DoD SECRET clearance
