• T&E analysis across departments using Cognos data and including adjustments from General ledger. 
• Provide financial analysis and comments to department managers to better forecast upcoming activity. 
• Develop assessment models to better understand and present forecast information.
• Run monthly departmental reports and create monthly financial review packages for various business units and aligning monthly meetings. 
• Calculate and load allocation metrics into financial system. 
• Evaluate methodologies, assess metrics and make recommendations for better modeling.
• Present budget and forecast allocations to departments, providing explanations for methodologies used and impact on the business.
• Coordinate efforts with team for Communication expense management, sales team support for vehicle leases and coordinating invoice management. 
• Assist the team for creating templates for Budget and forecasts and loading to and retrieving data from financial system
• Manage month end close process, journal entries, P&L review and analysis of departmental expenses. 
• Role entails in depth analysis of expense variances, deciding on monthly accruals given performance to date and assessing appropriate accounting treatment given financial activity.

  • Expertise in accounting principles and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels ofmanagement 
  • Data accuracy and deliverables on time 
  • Expertise in Excel specifically pivot tables and vlookup
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Experience performing quantitative analysis
  • Experience with Cognos, HFM, and Impromptu, MS Dynamics preferred 
  • Experience with SAP preferred 

Experience Needed:

  • Preferably 1-2 years’ experience in Corporate Finance environment.
  • 4 Year Degree preferred
