• Act as the Subject Matter Expert and holds overall accountability for the technical delivery and implementation of projects involving complex integrations regardless of purchased, built, or hybrid solutions.
• Develop solution, technology and infrastructure roadmaps, including options that are mapped to technology roadmaps.
• Demonstrate strong leadership, and being able to lead multi-million projects
• Work together with infrastructure and enterprise architects.
• Work with some predefined standards and with unknowns.
• Being able to work under pressure and is a goal getter.
• Participate in the Architecture forum.
• Research and recommend enhancements to the strategic technology evolution of the organization based on new and emerging technologies.
• Translate highly complex concepts for peers and customers.
• May participate in the full systems life cycle for designing, coding, implementing and supporting applications software.



• Must have 6 - 8 years of demonstrated technical working experience with Extraction, Transformation & Load (ETL) & data warehouse containing terabytes (TBs) of data.
• Must have working experience in leading multi-million dollar projects containing TB’s of data volume in an architect role.
• Must have working experience / knowledge on the design of work flow for complex production processes.
• Must have good working experience & knowledge with data modelling.
• Must have demonstrated working experience with data architecture.
• Must possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives.
• Possess demonstrated technical leadership and is proactive + results oriented.
• Working experience in Hadoop Architecture is highly desired.
• Working knowledge in Retail Risk (lines of credit or credit cards) is an asset.
• Working experience in a multi-disciplinary setting accessing multiple databases in a multi-system, multi-architecture environment is an asset.
