Gross Profit is defined as the total amount of profit that is made from sales. It is the total revenues minus the total cost of goods sold.

Net Profit is the gross profit minus all operating expenses. It is also known as the bottom line.

Real profit, with no costs to be taken away is pure profit.

Usually all types of direct expenses are attributable for the computation of Gross profit while all indirect & operating expenses are taken into account for calculating Net Profit. I agree with the response given by krunal1986.
