go to company info, select a company and then compare.

just go to Gateway of Tally. press F1 and select company to open the other company you wish to compare with.

select the company you already had opened before you opened the second company. go into any report and press Alt+C. in the screen choose the second company's name and fiscal year (that matches with the fiscal year of company 1). press enter and a new column will appear showing figures of the second company for that same report.

one more thing. in case you want to compare two different fiscal years of the same company in a report then confirm if the two company years are in the same company file OR whether they are split.

If for e.g. your company file data consists of two fiscal years (say April 01, 2012 to March 31, 2014) and you want to compare the two years Balance Sheet (i.e. y/e March 31 2013 and March 31 2014)then from the current year's (March 31, 2014) Balance Sheet type Alt+C. In the New Column details screen select same company in which you are working and select the previous year in the period fields. press Enter to see comparison.

BUT if you have split the two years data of your company then you will have to go to Gateway of Tally to upload the previous years file. after that go into the report of the current year and type Alt + C. Select the company and press Enter to view comparison.
