I've had this problem before, not with cloudera vmx but with some other file that was over 1 GB in size. My problem was that I downloaded the file through google chrome that sometimes corrupts large files. If you also used google chrome for the download, I would suggest using internet explorer.

Like Kapil suggested - looks like your file is corrupted. You will have to download again.
Please check the size of the downloaded file. Since its a large file - if sometimes the connection breaks - the download will get corrupted.

You can use one of the download managers to make sure - the file is downloaded properly.

The size of the file should be 2.02 GB
