In my /etc/hadoop directory there are many conf folders as follows; which one is the active configuration for my system and contains the configuration files used for our cloudera system? How can I tell?

- conf
- conf.cloudera.hdfs1
- conf.cloudera.mapreduce1
- conf.cloudera.yarn1
- conf.dist
- conf.empty
- conf.pseudo.mr1

hi Robert,

Cloudera does have its own version of daemons like cloudera-scm which look files from /etc/alternatives/hadoop-conf and some from /etc/hadoop/conf.cloudera*. It's better to handle modifications of configurations from cloudera manager.
