You need to disable VM in your computer.

1. Go to Programs and Features, "Turn Windows Features On/Off" and remove VM Role. Restart and test. If not, process with step 2.

2. Restart computer -> go to BIOS -> disable virtualization -> install Vmvare -> Restart the computer -> go to BIOS again -> Enable Virtualization

When I start VM Workstation pro, latest version, and I boot the Windows7 -x64 version in, the windows starts up, but freezes permanently. The desktop cannot be accessed anymore. What could cause this problem?
