How to calculate COGS and Operating Expense
Hi Sir, Could you please help me in finding the answer with the stesps for the question below.
If a Restaurant's Revenue is Rs.10 Crores and Net Income is Rs. 3 Crores. What is its Cost of Goods Sold + Operating Expenses?
Nov 02 2012 03:40 PM
Revenue = 10 crores
Net Income = 3 crores
Remember that Revenue-COGS-Op.Ex=Net Income
So we know revenue and net income and hence COGS+Op.ex = 10-3=7 crores
