I in fact had done this but, in the BIOS settings, I am not able to find the Software Virtualization option to Enable...so, I am not sure how to get this working. I went through all the menu items in the BIOS settings but, just could not find the Virtualization option.

Please let me know if there is anything specific that needs to be done when in BIOS settings..

Just to add, I think probably part of the problem is because I have an AMD processor...

Make sure if your host system is 64 bit, then on the system bootup enter BIOS (check your system manual for the key maybe F8 or F10) , goto Advanced settings and check the "Enable virtualization (VT-X)" option.
