Hi Neha,

If I am correct, you are trying to fetch data from MySQL installed in Windows using sqoop installed on Ubuntu(Vmware). You are getting permission denied error while running the import command with sqoop.

To resolve please first provide permission to your sqoop machine IP in Mysql terminal(console). Then you can access the mysql databases in sqoop and please make sure include mysql connector jar file in sqoop library.
