How to assign a value to a variable in julia explain with example

This recipe helps you assign a value to a variable in julia explain with example

Recipe Objective

This recipe explains how to declare a variable in julia.

Variables in Julia

Variables are used to store values at the memory location. Variables are the name given to the memory location to which they are assigned. In julia we can declare and initialize a variable just by writing its name. It is not needed to specify the data type with the name. For initializing the variable we can directly assign a value to the variable.

a = 5
b = "Julia"
c = -5
println(a)
println(b)
println(c)
println(typeof(a))
println(typeof(b))
println(typeof(c))
