Recipe Objective - What is a visual filter in power bi

Step 1 - Definition of Visual filter.

In this filter which is directly applied on individual visualization also within a visualization, the filters are applied both on data and the calculations which are used in the visualization.

Note - We are going to use the sample dataset already present in power bi which is the Financial dataset.

Step 2 - What output we are expecting?

We want to see the Country wise sales, profit and unit sold.

Step 3 - Drag and drop the columns

Drag and drop the Sales, profit, unit sold, and country onto the task window.

Step 4 - Apply filter.

Drag and drop columns into the filters pane as per requirement, for now, we are going to use the Month name column and going to apply the filter accordingly.
