Typically if you are a startup this is what happens broadly.
In the first angel round the company raises about $300,000 and dilutes about 20%. In the 2nd VC round they raise about $2 million and dilute about 20%.
After these 2 stages it really depends on the trajectory of the company. VC's focus on only 1 thing - growth. The better the growth the lesser the company will dilute.
