hi Padmalatha,
Let me know if you have enabled the cloudera VM in Virtualbox. if not follow these steps
open VirtualBox -> click on "Machine" -> "New" ,in the screen that appears, enter name, select "Linux" from the drop down for the "Type" and "Version" as "Other Linux (64) bit".
In the second screen provide the memory by dragging the slide.
In the third screen/final screen , select "USe an existing virtual hard drive file" and browse to the location where the cloudera vm was extracted and select the extracted file and click "Create".
after this, you will see the newly created virtual machine in the left pane of Virtualbox manager. Select that and click on "Start".
Thanks

hi Padmalatha,
Virtualbox has some issues with Windows7. You can try installing older versions. If this doesn't solve the problem, We'd suggest you to download and install VMWare player http://www.vmware.com/go/downloadplayer/ . The instructions on installation are provided in the document in LMS.
Thanks
