VMWare player is not available for Mac. on Ubuntu you can download the Virtualbox visualization software from https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Downloads . Once this is installed download and install the Cloudera VM from Cloudera (http://www.cloudera.com/content/cloudera/en/downloads/quickstart_vms/cdh-4-7-x.html).
