How to find COUNT using power bi DAX

This recipe helps you find COUNT using power bi DAX

Recipe Objective - How to find COUNT using Power BI DAX?

Task - Find out the number of transactions done in the superstore dataset.

Step 1 - Open Power BI report

Step 2 - New measure

Go to Fields pane -> Right-click on Dataset -> New measure

Step 3 - Dax query(Count function)

Write down the formula as Number of transactions = Count([Order-date])

This measure will calculate the number of transactions done.

In this way, we can find Count using Power BI DAX.
