How to plot highmaps using high chart library in R?

High maps are data visualization charts used for plotting data related to a geographical area. hcmap () is used for plotting of highmaps using high chart library. This recipe demonstrates an example of how to plot highmaps.

Step 1 - Install the necessary package and library

install.packages("highcharter") library(highcharter)

Step 2 - Plot a highmaps chart

hcmap(data)

where, data - can be any data of a geographic loaction

hcmap("https://code.highcharts.com/mapdata/custom/asia.js",name="ASIA") # an url from highmaps collection.
