This recipe helps you represent data in the Tabular format in Tableau

Recipe Objective - How to represent data in the Tabular format in Tableau?

Step 1:-

Connect the "Sample-Superstore" dataset.

Step 2:-

Drag the "Sub-category" dimension and drop it on the "row" shelf.

Step 3:-

Drag the "Measure Names" dimension and drop it on the "column" shelf.

Step 4:-

Now drag the "Region" dimension and drop it on the left of "Sub-Category".

Step 5:-

Drag the "Measure Value" measure and drop it on the "label or text" field on the "marks" card.

Step 6:-

To change the table's value into the percent, go to the "Measure Name" card below the "Marks" card.

Step 7:-

Click on the drop-down of any "measure". Select "Quick Table Calculation" and then select "Percent of Total"
