What is the LOG function in tableau

This recipe explains what is the LOG function in tableau

Recipe Objective - What is the LOG function in tableau?

The LOG function in tableau returns the logarithmic value of the given base; if the base value is not provided, it is by default 10.

Syntax of the LOG Function:

LOG(number, [base])

Example without base: LOG(50) = 1.699

Example with base: LOG(50, 2) = 5.644
