Step 2: Tagged Corpus Reader

The nltk.corpus package defines a collection of corpus reader classes, that can be used to access the contents of a diverse set of corpora. Tagged corpus reader reads simple POS tagged data. Paragraphs are fragmented into blank lines and words are tokenized using a tokenizer, these words are parsed using NLTK.
