Recipe Objective - What are Labels in Tableau.

Labels are one of the fields in the "marks" card which helps us to represent the value of any measures or dimensions on our graph or visualization.

How to use Labels in Tableau.

To use the label field first we have to make a chart. It can be any kind of graph (bar chart, line chart). Then the value that we want to show on our graph drag that and drop it on the "label" field on the "marks" card.

For Example, We created a bar chart on sales of each state of the United States, and now we want to show the value of each sale on our chart. Then just drag the "sales" field and drop it on the "labels" field.
