I agree with Sujata. long weekend break wont help at all. But I would still suggest to let the more advanced Mapreduce classes be finished; then we would have more important things to practice and catch up.
Only basic programming have been covered so far and it wont take that much time to master.
However once the advanced MapReduce will be done; we will require a lot of time to practice the commands and processes.
I would suggest to take this weeks class and request a break for 28th-29th classes.
