Cash flow connects balance sheet and income statement. When Cash Flow statement is made, it is made for a particular duration and the date on which you are analyzing the Cash Flow statement (say, 30th March 2008) takes into the consideration daily revenue/sales from the time when you previously prepared Cash Flow Statement.
