How to apply conditional formatting in power bi

Recipe Objective - How to apply conditional formatting in the power bi table?

We apply conditional formatting on the table so that users can easily get insights from the data.

Step 1 - Open power bi report

Step 2 - Add 'Table' visual in the power bi report.

To add 'Table', go to Visualization pane -> Drag and drop 'Table' visual in power bi report.

Step 3 - Add fields into the 'Table' visual.

Put the fields which you want to add in the 'Table' visual in the Values field.

Step 4 - Apply conditional formatting on the 'Table' visual

Select table -> Format -> Conditional formatting -> Select the column -> Turn on the way using which you want to apply conditional formatting.

Ways to apply conditional formatting - Background colour, Font colour, Data bars etc.

In this way, we can apply conditional formatting of the table in the power bi report.
