In this recipe, we will be able to copy beautiful soup objects with the help of the copy function.

Recipe Objective - How to copy a beautiful soup's object?

We are going to use the "copy.copy()" function to create a copy of any "Tag or element".

Steps to copy the beautiful soup's object:-

  1. Import necessary modules.
  2. Load an HTML document.
  3. Pass the HTML document into the Beautifulsoup() function.
  4. Use copy.copy() method to copy any element or tag. e.g - soup_copy = copy.copy(soup)
  5. You can use copy the specific element by putting that tag after the soup. e.g - soup_copy = copy.copy(soup.head)
